Mini Road/Train Trip
Yeah, that's right! Today we will be going into Boston, we includes: Ioanis, Ryan, Mike, Steve, Colin, PL and myself.

But this time Ioanis will be driving me. If you have ever driven with Ioanis then you know that he gets some "slight" Road Rage at sometimes. You know this is occuring when he lifts his right hand back and rams it into the horn with disgust.

Right now I am watching Mark Hoppus on MTV Cribs...

Strung Out w/ Poison The Well, Rise Against and Rufio - yeah thats right

Current Mood: excited

Not Such a Disaster After All...
Last night we went to the "Pop Disaster Tour", it was me, Caitlin, Colleen and Colin. Our seats ended up being really pretty good. We had one of the huge screens right in front of us and then we coould look down and see the stage perfectly as well.

When we got there Saves The Day had already played apparently (no one cared, and unfortunately I had already seen them anyway). We got food and went to look at merch. I didn't like too many of the shirts so I decided I didn't want anything. While we were still looking, Green Day started so we ran back up to our seats.

Green Day was amazing. Billie Joe controls the crowd like no one else. I had already gotten a small taste of Green Day live in a 45 minute set at RiverRave a few years ago. Like they do every show they brought three kids up on stage to play part of a song. The kid who was brought up to play bass was real funny. He was young and he got up there and Mike is teaching him the about three notes he need to know and he gets it down (kinda) so he starts doing "rockstar jumps" and stuff it was great. They played all there hits and also "Knowledge" by Op. Ivy, "Shout" ('throw your hands up and shout', you know...) and "2000 Light Years Away" (a classic older song). Favorite Song Live: prolly "King For A Day"

After Green Day, they play music inbetween bands... and they played the whole NOFX "Pump Up THe Valium" CD. Colin and I went to get food and buy Caitlin her Blink shirt. We had to wait inline with anoying, little, abnoxious blink fans : ), I just started making stupid wise comments to them while Colin repeatedly elbowed one of them. Blink began to start as we walked back to our seats.

Blink came on and if you didn't know they've been bashed in every review of the show because "all they do is swear and curse" and well that's true. I went in there knowing what to expect, Tom would suck live and they would talk about boobies and penis' inbetween every song and well that's what happend. But it was weird because they seemd to do it alot less then I expected... (they actually brought this up before one of the songs too, "Family Reunion"). Overall Blink was really good too, take them for what they are... Favorite Song Live: i think "Carousel"

(P.S. - Apparently the lead singer of STD came out of the closet last night, all the girls screamed for him and he said, "I kno all you girls like a big gay guy.." WTF!?)

Current Mood: Good
Current Music: the thoughts of Green Day and Blink live, dancing in my head...
